The hotel offers double rooms with shower and toilet, breakfast, a four course dinner, sauna, and outdoor

pool.

Aflenz is located on the south side of the “Hochschwab Massiv“ and was appointed as a climate spa town

in 1920 and received the title of a „beneficial climate, high-altitude health resort“ in 1979.

The region around Aflenz offers a lot of beautiful motorcycle roads and scenery like „mariazell“, the

„türnitzer alpen“, the „ötscherland“, the „eisenwurzen“, the „eisenstraße“, the „fischbacher alpen“.

Rally Agenda

We’ll visit the „erzberg“ for a „hauly ride“ and their show mine and if possible, a „blasting tour“. The

erzberg is the largest open-pit mine in central europe and mining has been going on for more than 1300

years. The erzberg is well know for the „erzberg rodeo“, one of the toughest offroad motorcycle races in

We’ll have a guided visit to the company „spring components“ in mariazell. the company produces not

only classic springs, their entire jobs run from engineering, the design of a prototype to the production of

series of all types of springs and bent parts in wire diameters from 0.2 to 30.0 mm diameter.

We are working on a special Saturday evening with live music.

Rally Costs

Costs for a double room is €105 per person and night; single room additional €10 (limited quantity); rates

include breakfast and dinner. Costs for the erzberg tour and music are additional.

The owner of Hotel Post, Fritz Karlon Jun is the chef in the kitchen and will cook for us!
